My background wasn't always as relaxing as performing massage. I knew however, that I had a strong drive to help people through all walks of life.

I achieved 750 hours of certified credit hours at Cortiva school of massage located in Charlottesville Virginia. I graduated in October 2018 and have been
practicing since July of 2019. I initially started my business as an in-home massage therapist, and after 2 short years realized that I enjoyed being home and enjoyed working with clients...just separately.

I currently have a strong base knowledge of, hot stone therapy, reflexology, prenatal, sports, aromatherapy and cupping.

What I enjoy performing the most, is deep focal work where fascia has accumulated over time. Sounds gross, its. Awesome! Wanna know the best part? After fascial restrictions are broken up, you as the client walk out with a better range of motion, and that my friend--makes me a superhero.

.. I'm kidding. But I would still say, that's pretty amazing.

As a licensed massage therapist who started a career in touching human bodies the year right before Covid-19. If there is one thing i know for sure. Our minds and bodies are under a great deal of stress.

With that being said. I have worked mostly assessing what's known as the {Gaits} and/or clients bodies for inconsistent patterns that affect people and what causes them pain or agitation in the body.

By using a basic visual assessment, which most massage therapist do :-) I like to try and visually observe what looks "off" on feet, arms, knees, hips, shoulders. These can be clear indicators of what compensation patterns due to old/new injury, recent surgery, new lifestyle changes or simple no change at all. We are creatures of habit...and our bodies like to remind us of that.

This type of work is called "structural integrity."
